I am a full time student and I would love to get otoplasty done soon and put myself out of my misery; however, I cannot afford it. Are there any doctors who have special plans for students? Living with protruding ears has gotten very old.
Answer: Otoplasty Many offices offer financing options, such as Care Credit and Prosper Healthcare Lending. Care credit can be used for a number of different medical procedures such as cosmetic surgery, dental care and vision exams. Call a office near you to find out about financing they may offer.

Answer: Students can afford cosmetic procedures but it involves a tight budget and saving wherever you can and not having the extravagant lifestyle that so many college kids seem to have nowadays.Find out what costs you are looking at by contacting offices. If your protrusion is not that bad, you could have this in the office, saving you considerably. But a consultation will be required to determine if this is possible. Some surgeons offer 'free' consultations so see one of them and get evaluated. If you must have it and don't have the finances, consider a loan from your parents, a story on 'go fund me', or some other imaginative way to raise funds. And resident programs are always cheaper but you should make sure you know what the revision policy is just in case you need it.

Answer: Where can I find affordable otoplasty? Always good to hear from a fellow gaucho - I was there back around the turn of the century - wow does that make me sound old. In general caution is best - be wary of 'discount' cosmetic surgery. Although finances are obviously important to everyone, it is more important to find a surgeon who will take good care of you - we are talking about surgery and a potentially permanent change to your face which will have permanent consequences. That being said, I would try to find an experienced surgeon outside of a major city .. hunting in Beverly Hills will certainly guarantee a high price tag, but not good quality. Another option is to go to a teaching institution (e.g. UCLA, where I went for medical school) and visit the resident aesthetic clinic - typically these are residents in their last year of training prior to graduating who have a full-time experienced faculty observe and assist. I hope this helps. Good luck!

Answer: Otopasty Dear Jack My plastic surgery programs in the country have a Resident Clinic. Otoplasty is a relatively easy procedure. A resident will perform the surgery under the guidance of a board certified plastic surgeon. Usually the cost is 50% of the normal cost. Your other option is to visit Canada where the Loonie is so cheap when compared to US dollars. You will get a bargain.Good luck
