Answer: Cup size? Truly, it is impossible to say. Which is why I always encourage patients to focus on the "look" they want and not the cup size. Assuming your clearly communicated your desired outcome to your surgeon, you should be fine. Best, Dr. Nazarian

Answer: Cup Size Hello,Thank you for your question and photos. Unfortunately, cup size cannot be predicted or guaranteed. Manufacturers have no standardization for sizing and your frame/measurements plus breast volume/projection, will determine the bra that best fits you. You may have a different fitting at each store you shop at. I recommend that you choose the implant size you want based on your Plastic Surgeon's recommendation and how you feel wearing the sizers with your own clothing in office. All the best

Answer: Cup size after implants Cup size after surgery will depend on where you shop, not so much on the implant. They might measure you as a C or a D depending on the shop. Be sure to discuss with your own surgeon about how this applies to you, and whether they have any special concerns in your case.

Answer: Bra Cup Sizing Bra Cup language is how patients communicate with each other, how patients speak to their plastic surgeons and how bra manufacturers get involved in the mix.Until now we have had no standard where we can compare or be close to the same starting point. We have just published in Clinic of Plastic Surgery our research that will go a long way toward solving this issue. There are many issues and challenges particularly with manufacturers, for instance Victoria Secret is really become a lingerie line vs a bra manufacturer and will upsize patients 1-2 cup sizes. However in general if you measure across your breast from where it attaches to your chest you can obtain a measurement. about 18cm is a "B" cup, 21.5 a "C" cup. It is impossible to tell from your images but I would estimate you being 17-18 cm...so a full "A"...small "B". to start.Approximately 200ccs is one bra cup so a 400cc implant will bring you up about 2 cup sizes to the small "D range. Remember bra cups are a bell curve...there is no such thing as a set cup size...so a Full C is a Small D. It will vary by manufacturer but will get you to the approximate size to start looking for a new bra.Hope this helps!Best!Dr B

Answer: Got 400cc teardrop implants and was wondering roughly what cup size they will be? I started at roughly a 10B Congratulations on having undergone the breast augmentation procedure. Online consultants will not be able to predict, with any reliability/accuracy, what cup size you will end up wearing. You will need to go bra shopping/fitting; in my practice, I ask patients to wait 3 to 6 months before doing so. Don't be surprised, at that time, if you end up different wearing different bra cup sizes, depending on who makes the bra. Generally speaking, I ask my patients not to communicate their goals and/or evaluate the outcome of breast surgery in terms of achieving a specific cup size ( given the variability in the measurement of cup sizes…). Best wishes for an outcome that you will be very pleased with, regardless of the specific cup size achieved.
