I was squared and had a muffin top. With the procedure I don't think the fat transfer stayed or dissolved cause i don't see a change. I do notice the fat removed from my lower back. I really want a rounder apple shape butt. So I am really wanting to go for a 2nd procedure to shape and add more but don't know how long I have to wait to do it?

Answer: When to do a second BBL surgery I am sorry you are not fully satisfied with your results. If you want to undergo a revision procedure, I generally recommend waiting about 1 year. This will give enough time for your body to heal and your surgeon to properly assess what exactly needs to be done. Make sure to select a surgeon experienced in revision BBLs since it is always trickier the second (or 3rd....) time around do to less available donor fat and the presence of internal scar tissue.

Technically you need to wait at least 6 weeks between exposure to general anesthesia for elective plastic surgery. It is best to wait at least 3 months between BBL procedure especially if harvesting from the same areas. Most will recommend 6 months to 1 year to allow your body to fully heal. Make sure you find a board certified PS that is experienced with this type of procedure. If you truly can't see a difference between pre-op and post-op, then you may be better served by a different PS.
