Nipple inversion surgery. Happy with results, but swelling will go down?

I got nipple inversion surgery one week ago and I've been told the swelling will go down for six months to a year. How much swelling exactly? I'm happy with the results now and don't want them to go down even more. The stitches on my right side have already fallen off and it has gone down faster than my left side. It's not possible to become inverted again is it? Anyway about how much swelling is there now at one week?
