How long after can one drink alcohol after rhinoplasty. im 2 weeks out.

postoperative bleeding has passed; generally two weeks postop is safe to resume
alcohol.

Dear Patient:  We believe alcohol promotes inflammation.  Best to abstain for 3 weeks post op.  We always ask our patients to not drink alcohol for the period of time they stay with us in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.  It's just not worth taking a chance of creating a problem.  Surgery of any kind is serious business and you will be better off not drinking for awhile.

After having a rhinoplasty procedure done, you can start consuming alcohol 2 weeks post surgery. However, before doing so you should follow up with your Doctor who performed the procedure to make sure that it's ok with him/her. Please keep in mind the healing time can be different with patients.I hope this helps!
