Can I achieve a more lifted, rounded look and have excess skin excised with a revision?

It is possible to do a revision with either a circumareola lift, fat transfers or switching out implants, if that is something you would want to do.

breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery.Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size.While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals.

Yes you can improve the look of your breast with a revision changing the prostheses with total removal of the prosthesis and its capsule, change it for new prosthesis or fat transfer to the breast. Your own tissue has sagged with your implants remaining in place. An examination is needed to see what can and cannot be done. However, using the vertical incision below your nipple, excess skin can be removed. Your nipples may still be in good position, but measurements are needed,

Hello gnk8832. It appears that there is a double-bubble deformity and lateral flattening on the left and lateral displacement of implants on both sides. A revision would likely include modification of a capsule with capsulotomies, capsulectomies, and capsulorrhaphies on both sides, and if needed breast fold reset on the left side. Excess skin may be excised or a more formal revision of mastopexy may be performed based on the exam and surgeon's assessment.
