I am having a mommy makeover and can't decide if I want a BA with a lift. The lollipop scar scares me and I feel like I have a good amount of tissue to get away with just the augment. Would a higher CC implant allow me to achieve a more lifted appearance without actually having a lift? I want my breasts to have a very natural look with a natural drop. Thank you in advance!
Answer: Would a higher CC implant allow me to achieve a more lifted appearance without actually having a lift? Hello, thank you for your question. It seems like you may benefit from a breast augmentation with lift, I recommend you to schedule an email, Skype or in-person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon.

Answer: Implants With implants, even a higher profile, the augmentation alone will not lift your nipples. If you are content with the location of your nipples, then choose an augmentation with the implants placed just behind the breasts. However, over time, you will have more sagging. You will get your best long term results with an augmentation with implants placed behind the muscle and the lift.

Answer: Would a higher CC implant allow me to achieve a more lifted appearance without actually having a lift? A larger implant can give you more projection, but it will not raise the position of the nipple. From the photos you provided you will achieve the best outcome from an augmentation with a lift. I encourage you to discuss in detail your goals for surgery with a board certified plastic surgeon. He/She will be able to provide more detail about what is recommended after an examination.

Answer: Do I need a breast lift? You might not need one. I recommend an in person evaluation by a plastic surgeon to be measured and discuss your goals. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants. Women tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what size and style breast implant is right for them. Mildly Sagging Breasts: If your breasts are mildly droopy, a saline or silicone gel implant placed behind the pectoral muscle might help create the illusion of perkiness. That’s because as the implant fills out the top of the breast, it also fills out the bottom, making it look as if the nipple has moved higher. It hasn’t. You can always get a lift later if you feel you are not perky enough when fully settled and healed. Answer: Would a higher CC implant allow me to achieve a more lifted appearance without actually having a lift? You can achieve an illusion of a lift with an implant in a dual plane positon to some extent and may be a small crescent lift just to pull the nipple up. If you are hesitant, you can so the implants first and see how it looks after about three months and if you are not happy, you can then do the lift. If you are happy, then you don't do the lift. They don't have to be done at the same time.
