Would a higher CC implant allow me to achieve a more lifted appearance without actually having a lift?

candidate for breast augmentation with a lift. Implants will give you the volume and upper pole
fullness, but based on your photos, you would still have some sagging. The lollipop scar may be needed to reposition the nipple and give the appropriate skin tightening. The specific implant size and shape should be
determined together with your plastic surgeon after a formal evaluation
of your breast tissues.

The indications for an augmentation-mastopexy (breast lift with an implant) is usually because you have volume deficiency and/or asymmetry of your breasts with accompanied ptosis (which is the sagging of the breast). From your pictures,  I think you would be a good candidate for this procedure because you you do have some sagging.  With a breast lift alone, you would have a better nipple and breast position but not the extra roundness on top nor an increase in volume.  If you want a larger volume with no change in where your nipple position lies, then an augmentation alone could achieve your goals.  You should consult with a board certified plastic surgeon who can give more detailed information after an examination and can answer all your concerns. I recommend an in person evaluation by a plastic surgeon to be measured and discuss your goals. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants. Women tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what size and style breast implant is right for them. Mildly Sagging Breasts: If your breasts are mildly droopy, a saline or silicone gel implant placed behind the pectoral muscle might help create the illusion of perkiness. That’s because as the implant fills out the top of the breast, it also fills out the bottom, making it look as if the nipple has moved higher. It hasn’t. You can always get a lift later if you feel you are not perky enough when fully settled and healed.

You can achieve an illusion of a lift with an implant in a dual plane positon to some extent and may be a small crescent lift just to pull the nipple up. If you are hesitant, you can so the implants first and see how it looks after about three months and if you are not happy, you can then do the lift. If you are happy, then you don't do the lift. They don't have to be done at the same time.

I have never bought into the notion that a larger implant provides some lift. The great thing about the lollipop lift is that it gives a nice shape and the scars heal very nicely.

Hello and thank you for your question.  The best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation.  Based on your photographs, the best shape and contour could be achieved with an implant and a breast lift. Your nipple sits below the inframammary fold and without a lift in addition to the implant, this will not have a natural shape.  A breast lift with an implant can result in a very nice shape if good technique is used.  The size, profile, and shape of the implant is based on your desired breast size/shape, your chest wall measurements, and soft tissue quality.  This decision should be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you and your surgeon.   Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.

Your photos demonstrate ptosis (sagginess) of breast tissue below your infra-mammary fold. Additionally, your nipples are low as well. If you go with implants only, you run the very real risk of having a Snoopy Deforminty of your breasts. This is where the implants sit high on your chest wall, and your own breast tissue sags down below the implants. a larger implant will not lift the nipple; it will give you a larger breast with more fullness up top. you will look better with a lift , if you can tolerate the scars.

Judging by the photos, I would agree that you need a lift.  Whether the lollipop incision is best for you or do you need a different type of lift I can not really say without an exam.  But by placing a larger implant to avoid a lift...it will not work out well.  You may be larger but your nipple and areola as well as the position of your breast will not change.  Only a lift can reposition your breast mound/tissue up higher on your chest.  Also the problem with going larger is that over time things will stretch more and more issues will arise over time.Hope that helps.
