I suffer from sacroiliac joint pain and I’ve always wondered if that would interfere with bbl or perhaps post op? I got xrays done with my chiropractor and he said there’s even two scars on my sacroiliac joints showing on the X-ray. He did say that there’s layers and shouldn’t affect it. However, would it cause me more pain after the sx? I’ve heard some people say that they experience a burning sensation or some sort of discomfort in that area. So it worries me that I’ll struggle even more.
Answer: Sacroiliac Joint pain Dear arii_harris, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Sacroiliac Joint pain - will this interfere with BBL post-op It should not increase pain in those areas. But you will have intense postop pain for 2-3 days. That is why I prescribe pain medications.

Answer: Lower back pain and a BBL Personally I would not trust a chiropractor to read x-rays. X-rays are best read by a board-certified radiologist. I think if you got a professional reading by someone who is properly trained in the interpretation of x-rays your x-ray would read normal and if there was pathology they would describe it using medical terminology. what does having a scar on your iliac joint mean and or look like an x-ray? Chiropractic medicine is not science-based and is in my opinion solidly in the school of quackery. Your pain will most likely not be improved. Could be made worse and most likely will be the same though you will have some new discomfort early in the healing process. No one is going to guarantee you the pain will not be made worse and no one will guarantee that it will be made better and most likely neither will happen. In the end you were the one who needs to make the decision and you’re the one who has to deal with the consequences in regards to your body and pain. I recommend getting a proper work up by someone with formal medical training. Physicians who work in pain management can pinpoint isolate and treat lower back pain quite effectively for many people though it can be a difficult area that can be challenging as well. At least working with someone who can properly assess you with an MRI and then use fluoroscopy guided steroid injections is far better than someone who works on manual manipulation. If you have not had a Medical pain work up yet then I suggest doing so. Start with your primary care doctor if you’re unsure who to turn to. Perhaps you’ve done all these things already. Honestly what most patients should be concerned about after BBL isn’t increasing pain but rather ending up looking just figured. The results of this procedure very substantially based on who does the procedure. In order to get a natural quality outcome it is imperative patients select the most experienced and talented providers in the community. The approach to how to do this procedure varies greatly and some results I see simply aren’t very impressive. Lots of people end up looking disfigured with unnatural contour proportions because of the approach the surgeon took. I recommend multiple in person consultations for local board-certified plastic surgeons. Ask each person to share their entire collection before and after pictures. Read all the reviews and various physician review websites and avoid providers for any significant number of justified negative reviews. Good luck, Mats Hagstrom MD
