Hello I am getting fat transfer from my arms to my lips. The doctor stated he will pull just enough fat from my arms to inject my lips. Will I need to use anesthesia or will Lidocaine be enough? I am concerned about the pain.

The split lip can simply be excised and repaired. This can be done under local anesthesia, takes less than 1 hour to perform and would cost less than $1,000.

A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. You would benefit from a lip lift.

Yes - we do this all the time. We take tissue from the lip, from behind the ear, from a scar elsewhere on the body, or from other surgery (e.g. a facelift) to use in the lip.
