Lip dents (above lips) - how do I fix this? (Photo)

Thank you for the question & photo. The indentations you are seeing are from the lip muscle contracting during a pucker or pursing of the lips. This is a normal function of this muscle, that can be mildly relaxed with Botox. Sometimes, these muscles compensate when a lip flip is performed and you may notice the pulling or indentation in other areas than you are used to. If there are lines or indentations visible when the muscle is not contracting, or at rest, these can be treated with volume replacement of injectable HA filler in the lip and/or peri-oral region.
