18, 5'10 & 135lbs, why do my lips protrude so much farther out? (Photos)

i am an African-American teen. (18, 5’10, 135) Every person I’ve seen have lips that sit very well behind the tip of their noses. Mine doesn’t. Is there anything i could do to change that? I feel like surgery is my last resort scenario. If not, i’d rather just deal with it.
