I’m 56 years old. I need a fresh look, I’ve only have had Botox in my 11s. I’m seeking suggestions on what might be appropriate. I know consulting in person will be best, but wanted some preliminary advice. I HATE my neck the most!! Do you prefer fillers or fat grafts for volume too?? Thank you

Answer: Age 56, what should I do for a fresh look & do you prefer fillers or fat grafts for volume? Thank you for your question. Judging from the photographs you shared, you would benefit the most from an endoscopic browlift, upper and lower blepharoplasty, face and neck lifts. We would probably use a a combination of excised SMAS tissue and fat to further soften your nasolabial folds, tear trough and temporal regions at the end of the procedure.

Answer: What you should know about a facelift procedure Thank you for submitting your question and photos. You may be a candidate for a facelift procedure to tighten up the skin, lift fallen tissue, and define the overall face shape and neck. Excess fat in the neck and jowls can be removed along with excess skin to create a smooth appearance and angulate the neckline. Underlying tissue that has fallen over time can be tightened and repositioned as well to achieve optimal results. You are correct that scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon is the best approach. They will be able to assess your concerns and suggest the best option to help you achieve your aesthetic goals.

Answer: Fresh Look Good Afternoon! Thanks for your questions and photos. You would be a good candidate for a face and neck lift procedure. The deep plane technique is especially effective and provides the longest lasting results. This involves not only skin removal, but repositioning of the deeper tissues which have fallen over time. The recovery is a bit more, but overall, there's no comparison. For volume, it really depends. Fat transfer is ideal for larger volumes because the longevity is so good. This fat can be harvested from around the belly button and really can look quite nice. Fillers work as well though you may need larger amounts and upkeep. I would seek consultation with a facial plastic surgeon to see what may be your best option. Hope this helps!
