Thank you for your question about the HALO Laser. After 2-3 treatments for repair, it is a good idea to have one treatment per year for maintenance. You may also consider 2 Broad Band Light treatments per year for maintenance as well.To be sure, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have HALO treatment.I hope this helps.
After the recommended series is completed we suggest a Halo treatment per year to maintain the results in combination with forever young bbl.
Downtime all depends on how extensive the procedure is, how aggressive it is and what combination procedures are performed. I suggest you speak to your physician about their individualized approach. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hi and thank you for your question! We usually recommend most patients start with two treatments of Halo. However, this can depend on several factors, including the issues to be treated and condition of the skin. For more severe issues more treatments may be needed. For maintenance, on average we would recommend one treatment a year, ideally. But again, this depends on the condition of the skin when starting treatment and the care of the skin in between treatments. If sun exposure is kept to a minimum and great products are used in the meantime, this will help maintain and enhance results. Also, if its being used as a preventative treatment less maintenance may be needed. Hope this helps! Best, Dr. Grant Stevens
Hi,unoqueen. Treatments with the Halo hybrid laser can provide results that lastfor years, especially if you follow good skin care habits such as applyingsunscreen daily. Of course, the aging process continues and you may want toreturn for treatments to help maintain your results. One of the advantages ofthe Halo laser is that it can be customized to meet your needs. So maintenancetreatments can be less intense than earlier procedures. I hope this helps.
One Halo treatment will not create the endpoint that most people are looking for but each treatment will continue to move your skin in a positive direction. We can also vary the intensity and the density of treatment with each treatment so that we can address specific issues and tailor the treatment for acceptable recovery times. That is the beauty of Halo. Texture and pore size respond to fewer treatments than do fine lines, laxity and scars.
It really depends on what your goal is for your skin. You may need more than one Halo treatment. Then once you are satisfied, do BBL treatments at least every 6 months.
While the results from a single treatment are considered permanent, we all continue to age with time. I generally recommend 1 Halo per year and maintenance therapy with Forever Young BBL treatments. A good home skin care plan is also important to keep you skin looking great. For more information on Halo treatments, please visit the link below.
Dear unoqueen,It really depends on what you are treating, and how good your skin care and sun avoidance is in the interim time. If possible, I would recommend trying to do 2 a year. Another option would be doing Forever Young BBL treatments (about 3-4 per year) between Halo treatments for excellent maintenance. There is tremendous variability in each patient's skin type, condition, and need so a consultations is extremely important.Good luck!
First, I should start with the bad news by saying there are no studies showing the effects of Halo HFL on syringomas. The good news is this is common in laser medicine. The only data published shows that lasers like the erbium:Yag are helpful. That said, syringomas should do...
Hi and thank you for your question! We have our patients resume or start on a skin care regimen to address their concerns and skin type. We offer many different products at our office. Just a few that we often suggest are one of the serums from iS clinical (super serum, pro-heal or active),...
Hopefully things have already begun to clear. Definitely check back with your treating physician. It appears you developed a mild acneiform eruption that can happen on acne prone patients who apply too much occlusive ointment or cream. Try to back off your CeraVe and ask your doc if it wo...
