How much time off is needed to recover after Brazilian butt lift varies based on how much liposuction has been performed as well as how much fat has been transferred to the buttock. Recovery is also based on the individual patient as everyone has a different level of pain tolerance. I have had some patients if they work from home go back to working within just a few days. I've had others go back to work in a week but on average most take about a week and a half to two weeks before they go back to full activity in the standard jobs.
Hello,Thank you for your question. Multiple surgeries can be done together, safely with the understanding that your recovery will be longer and more difficult for you. You may need longer than typical recommended time off-3-4 weeks. The specifics of your surgical plan will depend on your unique health picture, expectations and what your Plastic Surgeon advises for your best possible outcome. It may be a good idea to talk about the option of staging the procedures you want 6 months apart. For instance, you could begin with the breast lift and Tummy Tuck together. Be sure to book your consultation with a board certified Plastic Surgeon. All the best
This would be an extensive surgery that I may not recommend you having (but of course it all depends on the advice of your plastic surgeon). If you were to have these all done at once, I think you'd need at least 3-4 weeks off of sedentary work, and once you return to work, you should have frequent breaks from sitting to protect your brazilian butt lift results. Tack on another 3-4 more weeks if your job is physically demanding.
Combining several procedure can often save you time and money if you are a good candidate for multiple procedure. However, combining procedure often means more time for recovery. We recommend at least 2 to 3 weeks off. This depends on the kind of work you do. Majority of our patients are in the healthcare industry such as nursing and physicians. Their jobs often require standing and walking around. These patients often are able to go back to work early. The most important decision is to make sure that your doctor is a plastic surgeon that has privileges in a hospital to do the same procedure. Ask and verify!
Thank you for your question. The most important thing you can do is discuss this with you surgeon first, as each surgeon has their own set of post operative instructions that they have designed to keep your safety in mind, as well as ensure you achieve your best possible results. Typically, however, for these procedures, done in combinations, we often recommend patient's waiting at least one to two weeks before returning to light office work.Best regards,Dr. Lane F. In your particular situation provided there are no complications return to work in two weeks should be okay if no heavy lifting is involved.
I appreciate your question.Due to the amount of surgery your having, I would recommend 2 weeks for recoveryYou may also want to consider staging the BBL first and then have the TT and BL at a second stageThe best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative plastic surgery.best of luck!Dr Schwartz
Hi.. thank you for the question... Generally i suggest my patients to take 10-12 days off.. With this you can go back to passive work without risk.
Generally, after abdominoplasty and breast lift people need one to two weeks of rest before going back to work. A lot depends upon whether they have a desk job or not. It is unusual to need more than two weeks
Thank you very much for sharing your concerns with us. To give post-operative advice, i individualize each patient according surgery complexity, to garantize a better p.o. recovery and results. In this regard, between two patients who has made a full tummy tuck, maybe, one of them, needed a bigger muscle repair than the other, because her abdominal wall was weaker. Therefore, who underwent a greater muscle repair, requires a longer recovery period, and will take longer to allow exercise, to prevent any damage of the surgery performed. But generally, the average of TT patients can return to an "office job" that does not involve sweat or load weight to 02 weeks p.o.If it is a job that involves activity or heavy lifting, i recommend returning to work a month after p.o. to prevent surgery damage. Finally, i invite you to send your photos, to give more and better information of interest.Kind regards,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol.-
