7 days post BBL, and disappointed with my results. I still do not have a butt and my stomach is still fat. Advice?

Hello,It's really difficult to tell this soon after surgery. Your buttock will often look less projected than it ultimately will because of swelling in your lower back and abdomen. Dear Tonia10469,I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a BBL surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process at 7 days  post op.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively.At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides you will be able to see the final result of your surgery.Daniel Barrett, MD

At seven days you have no idea what the results will look like. There still massive swelling in the abdomen and the skin has not had enough time to contract. Don't panic yet. Wear your garment do massage if you're supposed to and try to get the swelling out and recover as fast as possible. In the first few weeks after surgery you can get the skin to recover as well it can.
