Hello 8675309sly,It’s a pleasure to answer your questions! I would recommend you getting a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery first, and a rhinoplasty, three-six months after you’ve fully recover from the initial procedure. Every patient is unique and will have different recovery deadlines. As short as one week after BBL surgery, patients could return to work and their normal daily life. After 2 weeks, they can gradually resume physical activity, yet avoiding strenuous exercise and activities for at least 8 weeks. Consult with an experienced plastic surgeon to assess your candidacy for BBL surgery based on your general health status, age, body shape, skin laxity and BMI, among other factors. Best wishes! Dr. De La Cruz.
Thanks for your question. I would recommend that you space the surgeries out several months because if you have the rhinoplasty first, you have to be placed face down during the BBL and this may affect your rhinoplasty results if there is any deep pressure to the nose area. If you do the BBL first, the generalized swelling takes a while to subside and this has to fully subside before a rhinoplasty is undertaken. Recovery time for a BBL is: going back to work 10 to 14 days, going to the gym approx. 1 month, 2 to 3 months for most of the swelling to subside. Please always consult with a board certified plastic surgeon.Take care,Moises Salama M.D., Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
Thank you for your question. You can get these procedures done together in one surgery. Combination procedures are safe and very effective in the right hands. The surgeon has to be an expert in each procedure and must have a lot of experience in performing combination procedures and can minimize the operative time. After a brazilian butt lift procedure patients can return to light activities almost immediately after surgery, normal activities 2 weeks after surgery, and vigorous exercise 4 weeks after surgery. We usually experience a slow steady improvement for 3 months or so after surgery. If you were to stage them in separate surgeries then it would be a matter of priority depending on which you'd preffer to have first. Usually patients should take around 3 to 6 months between these procedures. You definitely have to choose your surgeon correctly and make sure that he/she has the training and experience to meet your goals with absolute safety. Don’t settle for less than a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with specialized expertise in this procedure.
