Great question. Generally speaking corrective nasal surgery vastly improves symptoms for patient with allergic rhinitis, in the long run. I stress long run because many people have a short term worsening of symptoms right after surgery, usually because you are getting much more allergen into the nasal airway. Over time the symptoms equilibrate and are often less noticeable many weeks to months post surgery. I would caution you however that these results are in situations where the patient has discernible nasal obstruction. I hope this helps.
Allergic rhinitis is common. There is no problem doing a rhinoplasty in someone with this condition. Key point is the allergic issue will persist postop. If you have an mechanical obstruction to your nose such as a septal deviation this may be able to be improved with your surgery.
