During a consultation, the Dr at a SB branch told me that I didn't have enough fat for hip, outer thigh or banana roll. I'd always heard the best lipo candidates are those that don't *really need* it? She IS doing waist, lower abs and inner thigh.

With patients like you that are already in good shape, we are generally trying to refine all of the trouble spots to really enhance the entire figure 360 degrees.  You already have a nice body, so the goal would be to refine your feminine curves by targeting the abdomen, hips / love handles, back, and medial thighs.  The skin then retracts over the new shape to give the final result.  If you want a little extra emphasis on your curves, you might also consider a Brazilian butt lift...

From the photograph it looks as though you would benefit from liposuction of the lateral thighs, abdomen, and flanks. Obviously physical examination would be necessary to substantiate this. You might want to get a second opinion.

Thank you for your question and for sharing your photographs.  Based on your pictures I think you are an ideal candidate for liposuction.  You are at a very good body weight with isolated areas of adipose deposits.  Nothing replaces an in-person examination, but I think you could pursue all the areas you mentioned and have very good results.  Perhaps the Dr. didn't feel comfortable in performing all of the areas in a single operation?  Be sure to see an American Board of Plastic Surgery board certified surgeon for the best advice and treatment.

and thorough examination by a surgeon experienced with the various options for liposuction as well as other treatments.  Just looking at your photos suggests you could be an excellent candidate for liposuction, but a final determination would require examination of the fat content in the specific areas you are interested in having done, as well as an assessment of the skin tone and quality of those same areas.  That being said, if you were to have liposuction done with tumescent anesthesia only, and that approach is often optimal for many patients, you could not have all of the areas you mentioned operated on during the same procedure.  There is a maximum amount of tumescent anesthesia that can be given safely at one time, and a minimum amount needed in each area to assure you are comfortable for the procedure.  Try seeing another surgeon for a second opinion, and good luck...

It would seem from your pictures that you could be a candidate for somebody sculpting in your thighs, abdominal and hip areas. I would suggest seeing a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area to discuss this. It may be that the practitioner you saw was just not comfortable with liposuction and they may have been doing you a favor to send you want someone who has more advanced skills.Good luck!
