Do Surgeons normally give discounts to returning patients?

While I can't speak for anyone else's practice, we give a returning patient discount to all our prior surgical patients, regardless of when their prior surgery with us was.  It never fails to get a smile!

In my practice I commonly will give patients a financial break if they have had surgery with me before. This is completely discretionary on my part. I certainly wouldn't hesitate to ask your surgeon's business manager.

Policies vary depending on the office, but many offices do have patient loyalty discounts.  You can simply inquire about this over the phone prior to your consultation.  Best wishes!

Hello and thank you for your question.  Most plastic surgeons do provide a discount for returning patients, as they are happy to have their patients stay in their practice.  Every surgeon is different, so ask your surgeon.

In general PS do give consideration for their former patients. When doing multiple procedures on the same person discounts are given as well. More importantly, if you have found a surgeon who has operated on you and done a good job does 5% off make a procedure more worthwhile?Finding a board certified plastic surgeon that you can trust and has demonstrated their high quality skills is the first and hardest step.Good Luck!

This is a free choice of each doctor.  I certainly do. What greater complement is there to return for additional care. 

While each surgeon has his/her own financial policy, the norm is to provide discounts for returning patients.
