Do Surgeons normally give discounts to returning patients?

While I can't speak for anyone else's practice, we give a returning patient discount to all our prior surgical patients, regardless of when their prior surgery with us was.  It never fails to get a smile!

In my practice I commonly will give patients a financial break if they have had surgery with me before. This is completely discretionary on my part. I certainly wouldn't hesitate to ask your surgeon's business manager.

Whether a doctor gives a discount to a returning patient is entirely up to the discretion of the individual doctor. However, I certainly do and expect most do.Thank you for your question, and best of luck to you.
