I got a breast reduction/lift at first two years ago. I had dog ears and scar revision with the 360 cc gummy bear implant under the muscle a year later and the scar has healed disgustingly. I have gotten steriod injections. It did flatten the scar, but its still there. I cant wear certain tops and I hate being naked. Also, my breast are funny shaped. Can this be fixed I want them to look normal. I am 5'6 210 pounds. Are the 360cc implants too small for my chest wall?

Answer: Trouble with Scars Post-Op All surgical procedures carry some degree of risk Any breast operation can result in changes in sensation. This happens less with lifts than reductions but is still possible Occasionally, minor complications occur and do not affect the surgical outcome. Major complications associated with this procedure are rare. The suitability of the breast lift procedure and specific risks may be determined during your consultation. #Hypertrophic or #keloid scars can be a problem. The worst are usually under the breast with an #AnchorLift or inverted “T”. These can be treated like all thickened scars with re-excision, laser, kenalog/5-FU injections, creams, silicone strips and other methods to reduce and improve healing. Since it has been so long it would likely be a good idea to meet again with your plastic surgeon to see if there is anything that you can do to treat the scars or if a revision will be needed.

Answer: This can be easily fixed You do not need a revision, you have to rebuild your breasts completely without touching the submuscular implants you already have. It is to carry the entire contents of the breast over the area of projection of the implants and at the end of the operation, inject the new scar with a drug that accelerates the healing process making it esthetic.
