Answer: Revision Concerns Good afternoon, It appears like you had a vertical (lollipop) mastopexy? which is notorious for creating that elongated lower pole look. You should have your areoalas reduced, and convert the vertical mastopexy to a full "inverted T" mastopexy to tighten up the lower pole and decrease that long pointy look of your lower poles. It's not a huge revision procedure but it will make a huge difference in your appearance!

Answer: Lift You have some residual sagging of your own breast tissue which can be easily fixed with an incision under the breasts to remove the excess skin. Your areolae can also be somewhat reduced at the same time if you desire.

Answer: Revision breast lift after implants The combination of implants and a lift has a high revision rate for several reasons. You can achieve a significant improvement with a revision of the lift, which will narrow the scars, tighten the lower pole of the breasts, and reduce the areolar diameter.

Answer: Breast implant revision Hello and thank you for the question. Based on your photographs and concerns, you need revision of the breast lift, in order to reduce your nipple size and tighten the lower part of your breast. This is certainly doable. I wish you the best of luck. Vasileios Vasilakis, MD. Fellowship-trained plastic surgeon.

Answer: Revision surgery Dear Nicole_LM, breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals.
