Is this lateral displacement? And will I benefit from pocket tightening? (Photo)

I get this problem all of the time. Typically, its from women who went with high profile implants. This is a problem because while they project more, they are narrow at the base and can have widening effect on cleavage. The second most common problem is incomplete release of the pectoralis muscle medially. Many surgeons don't take the time to make this right. If you're not happy with your results I would suggest you to discuss it with your plastic surgeon.

Your implants do fall too far to the side, but in the upright position they are also too low. You need something to help hold them up and in, and simple pocket tightening isn't going to work long-term. If Galaflex or Strattice is available, that would be my recommendation.

You have lateral displacement, allowing your implants to separate too much when you lay down. I correct this is with the Original Internal Bra, my strong permanent internal suturing technique. I first developed this technique 20 years ago, and today it is the most common revision procedure I perform, 5-6 times a week- it works and it lasts! We do not have to take away your sideboob when standing- the technique allows us to decide how much sideboob to allow to remain, but will prevent them from sliding any further apart when laying down!
