Asymmetrical breasts & lift, feeling very confused after 2 consults (Photos)

It is difficult to evaluate the breasts from these photos with respect to symmetry as there isn't necessarily the most ideal lighting and views showing the entire breasts. Regardless, when there are two asymmetric breasts....you have options on how to approach. My personal preference is to use the same size implants for an augmentation as we are only adding volume to the existing breast. If the patient wants to modify each individual breast there is additional options to perform fat grafting at the time of implant placement or perform an anchor pattern lift or vertical pattern lift to permit reduction of skin/breast tissue.

in case of minor asymmetry, a different size implants can do the trick. However, major asymmetry will require reduction of larger breast in most cases. Thanks for your question! You do have quite a dramatic size difference that I think could be made better with two different implants, but your best bet for a long-term symmetrical result is to reduce the larger breast and then try to get closer implants. You're a little between a rock and a hard place. I might suggest another opinion. Good luck!

To be 100% honest, your breast asymmetry is a not an easy case, so you can't solve hard case with easy way. I'd recommend doing breast lift with donut incision, using different size implants and we may need to do a little fat transfer to solve the asymmetry issue. Without lifting, getting an ideal result won't be really possible.

With these procedures done, there might be a slight asymmetry left as well, but it will be much less than the current asymmetry

Asymmetry is very hard to correct. It is usually easier to operate on both breasts to correct the asymmetry, not just to make the smaller one larger. The value of the circumareola approach is it will level off the nipple-areola complex after the implants have been placed. You will need different size implants. I would not recommend removing breast tissue from the larger breast since it is not excessively large. Also, breast tissue is always better than artificial replacement. I recommend round smooth implants, not textured implants as they have been associated with BIA-ALCL.

Thanks for posting your pictures and sorry for the confusion created by your 2 consultations. Based on my experience of breasts augmentation surgery on over 3000 patients , I can tell you that your intuition about "easy" procedure is correct. All you need is breasts augmentation with mini lift (donut, circum areola) and due to your breasts asymmetry , 2 different size implants. My preferred implants are Saline implants due to multiple reasons that I will gladly elaborate for you if you contact my office.
Always, consult with experienced board certified plastic surgeons who operate in accredited surgery center for your safety. Most importantly, check the before and after pictures in the photo gallery to make sure that they are numerous, consistent and attractive with nice cleavage, perky, symmetrical and natural looking

There is never just one option with regard to implant type, size, style, and surgical technique. Perfect symmetry may be unattainable. You have to decide in very specific terms your goals. Most women have some degree of asymmetry but what are the “must haves” versus “it would be nice if…”. ?

Based on your photos it is theoretically possible to achieve a significant enhancement with implants only, but an examination in person would be necessary to specifically advise you. As a rule, volume, fullness, roundness, a pretty shape, and symmetrical upper poles are all relatively easy to achieve and are realistic expectations. Symmetry with regard to nipple/areola position and dimensions inevitably require an incision around the areola.

Seek an experienced board certified plastic surgeon with whom you feel a good connection, and whose results resonate with your wishes and expectations. Best of luck to you.
