breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small.You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.

Dear Neat485972, thanks for sharing your concern will be great to see some pictures to evaluate your case implants sizes selection are maybe the difficult step in this process, I do suggest to take a sit with your surgeon and talk about it, discuss your desires and listen his or her recommendation about, in order to meet your expectations. However it is impossible to pick or recommend style, shape, type or sizes without an in person consultation that provide the chance to get the measurement of key breast parameters. Adding breast implants will certainly add nice upper pole fullness, and can help achieve and more lifted and fuller breast shape.

Implant size discussion and implant selection is one of the most important steps during your consultation with plastic surgeon. The decision-making process depends on patient’s desires, as well as breast and soft tissue dimensions. 500-600cc size implant are typically considered large.

I suggest that you seek an in person consultation with a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon in order to discuss your goals and concerns for the best cosmetic results. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.

Photos would have been very helpful. However, you sound like you need a lift. Adding large implants will not address the sagging problem. The DD size never looks like A cups! Go for consultation.

It's difficult to provide meaningful advice without photos or an examination. Wide set breasts are determined by your natural anatomy. There are tricks used to give the illusion of more cleavage but your bone structure cannot be changed. I encourage you to begin by visiting a few board certified plastic surgeons near you for consultations. Here you can listen to expert opinions and decide what is best for you.

Breast augmentation outcomes are usually based on three variables.
The first is patient candidacy. The second is implant selection in regards to size, shape and type.
The third variable is the surgeons ability to put the implants in the correct anatomic location.
Patients were not ideal candidates for breast augmentation should understand the limitations so they have a good understanding of what results are going to look like.
Variables that lower patient candidacy include breast position on the chest wall, breast, divergence, and breast shape, etc., etc.If your breast sit wide on your chest wall, then they’re still going to sit in that position after augmentation.
If a surgeon puts the implants more towards the midline than the implants will not be centered on your breast.
Without pictures, we can’t really make any kind of assessment.
Using excessively large implants will always increase the chance of undesirable side effects, complications and need for revision surgery.
My best recommendation is to have multiple in person consultations with local board certified plastic surgeons who have extensive experience with breast augmentation.
Understanding your candidacy and making intelligent decisions as well as provider selection is the key to a long lasting high-quality outcome.
Variables like breast position or breast divergence are generally put on display with the projection of large implants.
