40cc difference between my left and right size. Is it normal to increase the difference if I was only 30cc before?

I would suggest discussing this with your surgeon. He/she may have felt that this would be more even while you were on the table.

Implants only come in certain size intervals. At the size you chose they often go in larger intervals than with smaller sizes. That’s probably why your surgeon used those sizes.,there was no 30. Cc difference they were able to use.
