52 year-old female, extended tummy tuck, liposuction and thighs (weight 185, height 67.5 inches) I dropped down into the 29bmi in anticipation of my March appt over the last six months. I’m still loosing but very slowly. Will loosing the last 20lbs after an extended tummy tuck overly change results.

You are an Excellent candidate for a tummy tuck. A far as weight goes the problem we see more often is patients gaining weight after a tummy tuck or lipo and it's easy to do. If you lose weight ahead of time that great. Just make sure you don't regain it after surgery

generally speaking, you want to reach your goal weight before you consider a tummy tuck, otherwise your results will be suboptimal if you continue to lose weight after the surgery. Congratulations on your impressive weight loss!  It is best to get as close as possible to your goal weight and be able to maintain it before your surgery.  This will give your surgeon the opportunity to maximize your results.  Usually any weight changes within ten pounds will not affect results, but getting as close as you can is recommended.

Yes, a 20 pound weight loss AFTER surgery will adversely affect the result. Significant further loss of fat AFTER surgery will result in loose skin. It is best to be at a comfortable stable safe body weight and be within 15 pounds of your desired body weight. Don't give up....the last 20 pounds are always the hardest!
