3 months post op, I have uneven breasts. Any suggestions? (photos)

Hello, it has been 3 months since my surgery. I had a submuscular procedure under the crease. My left is higher and less full than my right. Also, there is a huge gap in between my breasts. 325 cc in both breasts. Can you tell me a) if the breast still has time to drop or b) if this looks like uneven pocket work? Also, how do I address the large gap with my PS. Is this a poor result on their part?

Hello diane1983. All the patients I've seen in my practice have asymmetry and this is normal. Your breast after surgery will likely continue to be different and that is normal too. It takes a full year for the healing to be done with the average breast augmentation patient. Discuss your concerns with your PS. Best wishes, Dr. Aldo.

Almost all women have some asymmetry preop, and some or all of your asymmetry may very well be on that basis.   In any case, your breasts have a nice shape, and I would consider the asymmetry to be a very modest problem. Your implants appear to be centered behind the nipple: placing them to far medially will push the nipples out which is undesirable.  Placing larger implants or doing fat grafting medially or both will help the appearance of space between your breasts, which again appears very normal.

HelloFrom the pictures it does appear that your Left breast implant is still riding a little high.  This can still be normal at this point.  It does take some time for sub muscular implants to drop.  The gap between your breasts is what I would expect from your anatomy. Keep up good communication with your surgeon!
