Post trampoline necklift and my neck is very wrinkled under the chin with scars where the incisions were made, is this normal?

I was promised that by the 29April I would be good enough to attend a wedding. Well this did not materialize, my neck is very wrinkled under the chin with scars Each time I question the doctor about this he says that my face is youthful. And that I should continue with skin tightening and the neck serum and other creams he sells. Is this normal
