I had septoplasty surgery 4 months ago. I was in a bit of a rush day and a half ago at work and really went nose first into this cabinet (clumsy..) I bled from both nostrils and it stopped 10 minutes after. I've been bleeding slightly every since, clogging up my nose/throath and it stops and start several times throughout the day.Nose hurts slightly, not swollen but a little heavy breathing and lightheaded when it bleeds. Will this pass by itself? Thanks

Thank you for your question. After nasal surgery it takes a few weeks before the inflammation will resolve thus presenting as a blocked nose. Ocean spray a few times a day will decrease the swelling and allow you to breathe better sooner. As for the post-nasal drip, did you have have it before?...
Nausea can occur following surgery for a number of reasons including response to anesthesia, pain medications, etc. You should contact your surgeons office to see if they can prescribe you and anti-emetic medication to help reduce the nausea.
Hi bellaam2,If you have not done any other Rhinoplasty procedure aside from septoplasty, then hitting the nose should not have any impact on the septum unless the force was so strong it caused some bleeding.
