Hi Aeirys, At this time, you still have swelling, your nose may still be filled with a lot of mucous and old blood, which can prevent the also swollen nerve ending from contacting the stimulus for smelling, thus blocking the smelling mechanism. This should resolve with time.
It is still very early in the healing process so this could potentially be temporary swelling. Swelling can take a full 6-12 months after surgery. If the bump persists, you should discuss with your surgeon.
