I'm 22 and have always suffered from large pores and oliy skin. Now after a course of cryotheraphy. Several times I also did myself microneedling at home. If I pass a course of PRP therapy can I suppose to have a smoother and pored-free face

Answer: Microneedling with PRP for Pore Size Thank you for your message! Microneedling is a great option to help with skin texture, fine lines, and poor size. It helps to induce collagen production. When coupled with PRP, the effects are boosted and healing times tend to be reduced! Multiple treatments are typically needed, about 6-8 weeks apart. While at home skin care is very important, we typically recommend going to a medical professional for more in depth treatments!

Answer: Both in Office Treatments and At Home are Necessary Yes – it will help, but our philosophy as doctors and medical aestheticians is that your skin is as good as your homecare. If you don’t take care of your skin at home with good products, then the treatment results will not be optimal. With microneedling and PRP, you are making a commitment to your skin and that commitment includes what you are doing at home. Pore size depends on how you clean your skin. If your skin is not being cleaned regularly, you are allowing make-up from the day and other elements to embed into your pores. Regular, but not daily exfoliation will often help, and there are now products such as Defanage which truly diminish the appearance of pores.
