Microneedling after PRF - how long to wait? (Photo)

I am 31 & wanting to try PRF injections in my nasal labial folds, but I need to space it between my microneedling sessions. Unfortunately, my aestheticians office doesn’t do PRF injections, which makes timing and guidance difficult. How long after doing the PRF injections do I need to wait to do a microneedling session? I don’t want to disrupt anything or negate any results.

Since you're planning to get PRF injections in your nasolabial folds, it's really smart to think about how that fits in with your microneedling schedule. To get the best results from both treatments, I’d recommend waiting about 2 to 3 weeks after your PRF injections before doing another microneedling session. That gives the PRF enough time to release its growth factors and stimulate collagen properly without being disrupted.

If you ever do microneedling first, you’ll want to wait at least a week before getting PRF injections—just to make sure your skin has healed enough. But in general, alternating them every 3 to 4 weeks is a great rhythm. That way, you're supporting your skin’s natural regeneration without overwhelming it.
