Very good question. The “bunching” that you are referring to is the formation of lines under the eyes as a result of making facial expressions like smiling. These lines are known as dynamic wrinkles and usually respond best to injections of a neuromodulator like Botox. The medication works by relaxing the muscles that form the wrinkles. Botox injections are quick, relatively painless and require no downtime afterward. Results appear within about two weeks and last three to four months. Always choose a board-certified dermatologist and expert Botox injector for your procedure to ensure an optimal outcome.
The wrinkles you are describing are known as dynamic wrinkles that only make an appearance when you make certain facial expressions - like smiling. In this case, a few injections of a neuromodulator like Botox will reduce the appearance of the lines by relaxing the muscles that form them. Botox treatments take just a few minutes to complete and are relatively comfortable. Results appear within two weeks and last for three to four months. Always work with an experienced, board-certified plastic surgeon and expert Botox injector to ensure an optimal outcome.
Under eye skin bunching can be treated with skin relaxers, such as Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, or Jeuveau. For dark circle or eye bags, then filler injections may be more appropriate. For significant skin bunching, then lower eyelid surgery with skin reduction may be required. Young patients in their 20's typically do not need surgery. Quite a normal finding in animated face; that is what gives you individuality when you smile. Botox may help. Good luck.
Thanks for your question, You're young, the wrinkles under your eyes appear in the photo to be caused by the muscle underneath the skin causing the wrinkling. If this bothers you, then botox or similar product can be used very carefully in that area to relax the muscle and smooth the area. Hope this helps and God Bless!Dr. Robb Jr.
Thank you for your question. There are many things you can do to treat under eye, but a combination approach with nonsurgical treatments would give the most improvement: fillers (Belotero, Juvederm Volbella), lasers (Fraxel/CO2), Renuvion (J-Plasma), microneedling/PRP, Cosmelan peels and stem cells. A surgical option to remove skin and/or fat might be the best solution long-term. I suggest getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to see what is best for you and your goals. Best, Dr. Emer.
Fillers are an option to help improve under eye contour concerns. The treatment is done in the office and the results last up to one year. Botox can be used to soften lines at the crow's feet area. Both treatments work well with microneedling, lasers, and chemical peels to improve skin's tone and texture. I also recommend medical grade skin care products and wearing sunscreen every day.
You are frankly over corrected in the right side. The most common type of ptosis surgery offered is a mueller's muscle conjunctival resection ptosis surgery. Is that how your ptosis was done or was all the work performed from the front of the eyelids. This will make a difference regarding the ...
Based on your history and your photos, the bumps you are experiencing are most likely either inclusion cysts or reaction to sutures placed deeply at the time of surgery. The latter will typically become inflamed and the area will open, extruding the sutures and then resolving. Inclusion cysts...
Eyelid tissues are very specialized and respond to surgery differently than other tissues. Your concern about the location of the incisions seems valid based on your photographs. Additionally, I would agree that significant swelling after 3 months is unusual. You should consider seeking out...
