Is there a way to speed up healing and reduce swelling and bruising after CoolSculpting?

Question

I just got Coolsculpting on my abdominal area. I am 5"7 and 130 lbs and the area doesn't really have that much fat to begin with, so there was no 'stick of butter' situation. So far I'm taking Arnica orally and topically, massaging the area, and taking Bromelain. Any other suggestions to minimize the swelling and bruising? I'm going to Greece a week from today so I want minimal swelling! Would a sauna or diuretics help?

Swelling is one of the most common side effects of coolsculpting. I recommend wearing clothing with some light compression to help ease the swelling a bit. Best of Luck !

Thank you for your question. To help reduce swelling and bruising, I would advise you to keep up with the regime you are already on with the Bromelain and Arnica. Also, drink plenty of fluids and a massage in the treated areas may help. I recommend having a follow up with your treating physician to address any concerns you may have. Best of Luck!

Continue to take your Arnica and Bromelain, and perhaps invest some sort of sports wear that specializes compression. A soft or short massage would greatly increase comfort as well. Good luck!

To reduce swelling and bruising, I would recommend the Bromelain and Arnica regimen you are currently on and I would recommend wearing a compression garment as well for swelling. Also, drinking plenty of fluids and lymphatic massage to the areas treated may help. Ask your provider for any further recommendations!
