The key to a good result in liposuction is to remove the fatty contour irregularities so that the contour is improved and aesthetically pleasing. I do not look for a specific percent reduction per se.
The perfect liposuction leaves an equal layer of fat cells from head to toe. If you do this will create a great shape and we need to gain weight you gain weight evenly. Liposuction is not a weight loss procedure. After liposuction your weight probably won't change more than 5 pounds. But your shape can be changed dramatically. Remember liposuction is a rob Peter to pay Paul procedure. If you take all the fat from one area another area will get bigger to store the fat that would've been stored in the liposuction area. this is why taking all the fat from one area is a mistake.
It is not what is taken out, but what is left that make a successful liposuction. In most cases it is the best goal to remove enough and leave enough behind to result in a beautifully contoured body. Trying to take all of the fat out of an area will results in a scarred and bound down appearance to the overlying skin. See an experienced and well-respected liposuction surgeon for consultation and guidance on what would work best for you.
Thank you for the question. Unfortunately, the answer to your question will be and on the specific patient, the amount of adipose tissue present in the treated area, and the nature of the overlying skin. For example, in an area where there may be a small amount of “excess” adipose tissue ( for example the chin area) only a small amount of adipose tissue can be removed without causing potential irregularities that may be visible/palpable superficially. This adipose tissue removed however may comprise a large “percentage” of fat cells that were present in the area. I would suggest in-person consultation with a well experienced board-certified plastic surgeon who can more precisely answer question after direct examination. Best wishes.
Hi. 1) I would not worry about the stretch marks. You are young and you haven't lost a huge amount of weight. So your skin should contract to fit the new smaller size. 2) As with everything, doing it right matters. I think it is important to use...
