I've had a hard time finding a surgeon that specializes in jaw implants. I've found chin augmentation, but I'm looking to make my whole jaw bigger and more defined. Tom Cruise is a good example (attached photo) of how I would want an implant. Does anyone recommend any particular surgeon for this type of procedure? How much would this operation cost?

Too often, patients choose a physician based on a catchy ad, the brand name of a technique, the basis of one or two before and after photos, or their web site’s search engine ranking. This is an outpatient operation and usually takes about an hours to an hour and half. The cost varies significantly from surgeon to surgeon.

Answer: Jawline Augmentation Total jawline augmentation can be done using two different implant approaches, a three piece approach (standard chin and two jaw angles) and a one piece wrap around total jawline implant which is custom made. There is no question that the custom implant approach is the best method with the least chance of revision and more control over the implant shape and dimensions. Using standard chin and jaw angles can work well in some patients provided that they do not need a vertical drop in their jaw angles to create the desired jawline effect. The first place to start is to send pictures and have computer imaging done to see what would serve your jawline augmentation goals the best.

Answer: Jaw enhancement The easiest way to create that look is with fat grafting. Several experts do liposculpture and have excellent results.Implants are tricky and have elevated risk, hence few plastic surgeons do them.
