I have heard that (the stem cells from?) fat grafting to breasts (that have had double mastectomies) can actually promote the re-growth of any residue breast tissue. What is your take on that? Do you think fat grafting can increase the chance recurrence for breast cancer?

Answer: Fat grafting to the breasts after mastectomy
The most likely cause is fat necrosis due to the injected fat not surviving. This may or may not resolve as the fat can calcify or sometimes become cysts. If it does resolve it often does take 6 months or more to do so.
