First and most important, is the kit must produce at least 4 to 5 times the number of platelets that exists in normal blood. Secondly, the final PRP must have a low concentration of red blood cells and white blood cells. Almost none. Thirdly, the resulting PRP must be at a physiologic pH around 7.1 to 7.4.
