Some swelling is normal and should resolve in a few days. PRP should be combined with progesterone for the best results. It takes 6-12 months of treatments to start to see the best outcomes. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
The most likely cause for swelling after PRP treatment is the local anesthesia. This typically is mild and should resolve on its own in 2-3 days.Another possible cause for swelling is if there is an increased amount of red blood cells and white blood cells in the prep-they can stimulate inflammation.
Post-injection symptoms from PRP are related to technique. If one uses an extracellular Matrix or a ring block the chances of post injection swelling increases. In my opinion, the best technique to use as subdermal Depo injection. This utilizes less injections and does not require a ring block or any other type of anesthesia. Should you develop post-operative swelling, decreasing salt intake and sleeping with elevation is helpful. In addition, some people recommend arnica. Your swelling should decrease over time.PRPHAIRMD.COM

After PRP treatments it is not uncommon to have some swelling and even bruising on the treated areas and even extending onto the forehead and around the eye areas. Ice can be very helpful to diminish this which should resolve within a week of treatment. The swelling should be improving day by day and if it is not, It is best to have your doctor take a look at the swelling to be sure it is ok.

Thank you for your question. In my opinion you should do well with PRP treatment . But again PRP with A Cell is not enough , you need to take proper supplements + green tea extract and follow extensive PRP Hair treatment protocol.
Based on your photos and description PRP will not give you the results you are looking for.The only way to significantly increase the hair density in that area would be with a transplant.
Hi coren. It is difficult to say without knowing more details of the microneedling--it will take some time before you will see new hair growth anyway. I have had better success with injecting ultraconcentrated PRP directly, and it is a shorter, less painful process for the patients. Be su...
