Yes I had Botox injections 2 days ago at 1:00 pm pacific time. The very next day at 2:00 pm I noticed both my hands were puffy a swollen. Also the palms of mr hands started itching and burning. Today even still at 10:00 pm my hands are even worse. I wondering if I'm developing an allergic reaction to the Botox? I've had 4 previous true anaphylactic shock episode in my lifetime before. Thanks so kindly. Karen Quam~

Answer: Sensitive to allergic reactions? Well, there's no way to make a diagnosis online. I am not sure if this is a reaction to Botox or something else you may have been exposed to recently. You should get an evaluation because of your medical history right away. Warmest regards, Dr. ALDO

Answer: Possible Botox allergy Where on your body or face where you injected with the Botox? It does not sound like a typical Botox allergic reaction and unless you were injected in your hands, it may not be related. Since you mention you have had anaphylactic shock in the past, I would recommend going to an emergency room to make sure the itching and swelling of your hands is not the beginning of an anaphylactic episode, whatever the cause.
