Ill have a BA & lipo done on Sept 19. I told my doctor that I want a fat transfer to round out my hips, but he says that by just getting lipo on my flanks & lower abs it would look like rounder hips & smaller waist. I worry that he wont take enough fat from my waist to give the look Im hoping for. Doc said no need to remove the fat on the top part of my abdomen. I think that he won't remove enough fat because he had told me my upper abdomen was fine. 5'1/150 lbs/Hispanic(1 Child who is 3yo)

Answer: Liposuction revision Dear sydneycat93, yes, it is possible to have a liposuction of the same are twice as long as there is enough fat tissue. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Liposuction the same area twice It is possible to liposuction the same area twice, however it is often more challenging the second time around due to underlying scar tissue and patient perceptions about fat content in those areas. Because you have not had your procedure yet, it is probably better to discuss this upfront so you don’t have to plan on having a revision. Remember that liposuction is not designed to remove all of the fat in the treated area. It mainly targets the deeper fat to provide improved body contouring. Oversuctioning can lead to unsatisfactory results. Discuss your concerns with your surgeon prior to the procedure. Ask him or her what your reasonable expectations can be after the procedure. Best wishes.
