Is it possible to reduce the length of the philtrum without making the upper lip bigger with a lip lift? (Photo)

Some better photos might be helpful, but here a couple of thoughts...  A bullhorn type lip lift, where the scar is placed immediately beneath the nose, can lift the upper lip and shorten the philtral columns. It doesn't make the lip "bigger".  There might be that perception, however, if the upper lip is higher and rolled outward, which happens slightly as the outer layer (skin) is shortened, while the inner layer (oral mucosa) isn't.
