Is it ok to have subnasal lip lift surgery after having silikon 1000 injected into the lips?

A lip lift can be done after silicone is injected in the lips.  Silicone injections have a high complication rate and I would seek medical advice if you had any problems with your lips.

A lip lift is performed through an incision just under the nose. This helps to shape and improve the contour of the lips. It really helps to balance the peri-oral area. It does not add volume to the lips, but it provides the shape that volume can't. A lip lift can be performed after lip injections. It would be important to allow the lips to settle down from the injections prior to the procedure so an accurate lip lift can be performed.
