Question

I have a crease under my eyes and laugh lines that go to my jaw line, as well as sagging cheeks. Need something that doesn't need redoing every 3-6 months. Read that laser deals only with acne scars. Looking at bef & after of lase and don't see it helping me. I hear that something like Ulthera deals with the lower layers of the skin and so could give me what I want, plus, since it stimulate collagen and elasticity, it can last up to 2 years or more. What are my options? Thanks you.

The photo appears to show a groove from the inner corner of the eye down and across the cheek, called a malar groove. This can be improved with the addition of volume, either fillers such as Radiesse or fat transfers. There does not appear to be a lot of skin laxity but Ultherapy can provide some lifting but it is unlikely to be the solition by itself.

Though it would be better to make a plan after an in person exam, your photo clearly show loss of volume in your cheek area. That said, that could be improved with fillers such as Radiesse or Voluma. Combining that with Ultherapy to address your jowls could give you a great non-surgical plan.

In a single picture it is difficult to say if you have facial laxity where you may benefit from non surgical tightening IN ADDITION to the loss of volume resulting in that additional groove that you have centered in the picture. If the groove you have zoomed in on is your only concern, then you only need a facial filler to treat that problem - this can be done every 12-14 months. Choose Radiesse or Belotero or Juvederm or Restylane ... or the filler of choice of the physician who is injecting.I prefer to use Radiesse in that area. Volume filler is what you need - another option is autologous fat transplant which is more expensive and may or may not be more durable.
