Thanks for your question. The hair that is growing is your normal color. Fortunately, since it is dark it will respond to Laser Hair Removal. You should be able to get rid of 90+% of the dark hair that is growing with a series of treatments. Look for a medically supervised provider that has good reviews in your area. Best of luck.
I would suggest laser hair removal. A good candidate is dark hair with lighter skin. Lasers will not work on gray or blonde hair because there is no pigmentation. Usually 5 to 6 treatments are required for long lasting results. Also, it depends on the laser that is being used. The hair will grow back thinner and slower with each session. Shaving only is recommended between treatments. Any waxing, plucking or chemicals is not recommended because you do not want to take the hair out of the follicle.
Hello and thank you for your question. It sounds to me like you are a great candidate for laser hair removal. Laser hair removal uses the power of a concentrated laser beam that passes through the skin, targeting hair follicles. The pigment within the hair follicle absorbs the light, which causes damage to those follicles. This process slows hair growth, and often prevents hair from growing back in the treated areas. After your first treatment, you can expect a noticeable reduction in the amount of hair. You will likely need six to nine treatments before you experience permanent results. Best of luck, P. Alexander Ataii MD.

Thank you for your question. I recommend patients wait at least 4 weeks between laser hair reduction treatments. This time frame provides the best results and the safest practice. If you're concerned about the laser treatment you recently had done, I suggest speaking with your provider. Did they...
Good question, to answer it specifically I would say that the "time to regrowth" after each session varies and does not really reflect result rather it reflects how many of the hairs at time of treatment were in the "active" versus "sleep" stage. Sometimes the hairs that are left (not...
