What is the appropriate temperature for the procedure to be successful? My sister said she was at 43 degree is that sufficient, her nurse said she tolerated 46? I had lipo 5 years ago, gained 7 pounds would like to zap my upper stomach (below breasts), pouchy tummy & saddlebags. The hotter the better? I don't want to this investment not be successful. Any particular kind of massage?

Clinical studies have show that 43.5 is the treatment temperature that causes fat cell death and improved skin quality. I usually try to keep the temperature between 43.5-44 and at the same time make sure my patients are comfortable. Taking the temperature any higher does not get you more results. The areas you are concerned about are great areas to treat with Trusculpt ID.

Therapeutic temperature is between 43.0-44.5. Once your tissue temperature is within that range then you are receiving benefit from the treatment. At no point should the temperature be so hot that it's not bearable. Best of luck!

Clinical studies have shown that a temperature of 43.5 is effective at causing permanent destruction of fat cells as well as skin tightening.  There is no evidence that a higher temperature will be more effective.Best wishes.

While benefits can be found in lower settings, the goal of therapy is to get up to 43-44.5 degrees C for at least 5 minutes.

Patients could see the benefit at lower settings but studies used primary endpoints of 43 to 44.5 degrees Celsius for at least 5 minutes.

If someone is very anxious or known low pain threshold, then topical anesthetics or benzodiazepines can be used. Need to know in advance.

During trusculpt ID our goal is to treat the fat and skin to 43-44.5 degree C. Sometimes patients cannot tolerate 44.5 so we need to drop down the temperature. We have to balance comfort with the target. Most people can tolerate the target temperature; however areas like the back of the arms are more sensitive.

Studies have shown that TruSculpt ID effectively destroys fat cells when the temperature reaches 43.5 C.  It is not necessarily more effective if a higher temperature is used, but will likely cause more discomfort during the procedure.  Additionally, higher temperatures above 43.5 C tend to cause more complications.

Studies demonstrate that the ideal temperature is 43.5C  for the best results of apoptosis (fat cell death) and skin tightening.  Higher temperatures do not improve the results and only will cause more discomfort during the procedure.  Best of Health To You!

Although some patients may tolerate higher temperatures they are not required to get results. As long as the device reached the therapeutic temperature of 43.5 it should be effective in reducing fat AND tightening skin!
