I have a c-section shelf and am considering truSculpt iD. I'm worried about worsening it. How are results for this area? (photo)

Because of the versatility of the truSculpt iD and the uniqueness in placement of the hands free applicators, you can customize treatment to particular problem areas of concern yielding great results.  Because we are using heat instead of freezing you can also tighten the skin overlying the treatment area.

I have great success treating the shelf of fat and loose skin hanging over c-section scars with Trusculpt Id. The reason it works so nicely for this area is because the treatment customized to your shape and size. We are using RF energy to destroy fat cells and simultaneously your skin will get a treatment causing improved quality-more lifted appearance over the shelf. 

Trusculpt would be a great, noninvasive, nonsurgical treatment option to address your abdominal concerns. You can expect, on average, a 20-25% reduction of fat cells in the treatment area with final results seen in 3-4 months.

Trusculpt ID is unique in that it kills fat and also causes tightening of tissue.  While most patients want destruction of fat, without tightening, results may be frustrating with coolsculpting or sculpsure due to less tightening with Sculpsure and NO tightening with Coolsculpting.  Trusculpt ID has the unique benefit of similar fat killing rate (approximately 20%) to Coolsculpting but the benefit of tissue tightening only with Trusculpt ID.
As scar tissue may take on heat differently than normal skin, the Sculpt ID pads could be placed near but likely NOT on C section scar.   As killing of adipose/fat and tightening do occur with Trusculpt ID, you will likely get the benefits that you are seeking including decrease fat likely and tissue tightening. 

Because TruSculpt ID can be customized to each patient’s particular needs, you would most likely be a good candidate for this procedure.  TruSculpt uses radio frequency that radiates heat evenly over an area that both destroys fat cells and tightens the skin.  The heat radiates beyond the applicators to feather the results in nicely.  That being said, there is no substitute for an in-person consultation to determine if TruSculpt is the best option to achieve your treatment goals.
