QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Is Venus Legacy as effective as SculpSure? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
Venus Legacy is used for skin tightening and collagen formation which allows it to tighten skin and address cellulite at the same time. It is typically a series of 5 -8 sessions. A therapy that likely has more impact than Sculpsure for fat reduction and skin tightening is the Cutera TRUSCUPT ID. If reduction of fat is the primary concern, then Sculpsure or TRUSCULPT ID are better choices. If general tightening and cellulite or stretch marks, then Venus Legacy makes more sense.

Venus Legacy for abdominal skin tightening? (photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
Venus Legacy is meant for collagen formation and skin tightening. If pockets of excess fat, then Cutera Trusculpt ID is a better choice. Based on photos, the Venus Legacy is a good choice. With either therapy, you can resume normal activities immediately after therapy. You may be sweaty after therapy as it is generating heat.

How long should a Venus Legacy treatment take?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
In general, treatment over a specific area needs to get heat up to 43 C for 3 to 5 minutes based on numerous studies with radiofrequency devices. Time is more dependent on the size of the total area treated but a given site needs to hold temperature for at least 3 to 5 minutes for the desired effect on that site.

Venus Legacy causes skin tightening and collagen formation. The aging process never stops so maintenance therapy is likely warranted but the effects are long lasting.

How long after getting Botox in my face, should I wait before having a Venus Freeze treatment?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
I would recommend waiting one to two weeks. Most studies suggest that botulinum therapy is bound by a week. The product is kept frozen and refrigerated after reconstitution and is heat unstable. High heat may destabilize botulinum therapy rendering botox less effective.
