73 year old wants facelift, advice? (photos)

Thanks for the question. There's no age limit or ideal age for Facelift. Which means, being 73 years old doesn't obstacle the surgery.

If you are in good health you should be fine for a facelift, be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Many surgeons offer computer imaging so that you can get a good idea of what results you can expect. Good luck.

If her health is good there should be no problem performing a facelift at age 73.  Because of the sagging of the midface you should seek a facial plastic surgeon who is adept at midface lifting.  In your case, your sagging midface gives you a sad mad tired look.  A competent, natural, face, neck, and midface lift should give you a natural look that takes years off your age without people realizing that you've had a facelift. 

As long as your are in good health, there should be no problem doing a facelift or rhytidectomy procedure in a 73 year old patient. Please consult an experienced, board certified, ASPS, plastic surgeon in order that you may be appropriately evaluated before surgery.

If you are in good health then facelifting surgery is fine at almost any age. I have performed facelifts on patients up to 90 years old. I would definitely recommend getting a consultation with an expert at facelifting surgery to be evaluated.  Good luck

benefit from a mini facelift with a neck lift.  If good technique is used,
this can be done with minimal scarring and can result in a natural look, not
over-done look, with rejuvenation of your face.  Your age is not a problem at all for this surgery, as long as you are in good health and can obtain medical clearance from your primary physician.  Make sure you specifically look
at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery
performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The most important aspect
is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek
consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate
you in person.

You answered the question yourself. You are healthy, with no major medical problems. Your age should not be a barrier to facial plastic surgery at all. Of course, I would confirm this with your primary physician.

If you are in good health, do not smoke and are medically cleared to undergo general anesthesia, you can still be a wonderful candidate for a facelift regardless of age.  Based on your photos, I think you would be very happy with a facelift and lower blepharoplasty.  I recommend you schedule a consultation with a plastic surgeon to further discuss your options.
