Sculptra in the temples?

Sculptra in the temples works very well to add volume for a long-term duration as well as balance the volume of the face.  By softening the bony rim of the eye bones, we achieve a more youthful, softened appearance by bringing light into a convex vs. concave area.  Traditional gel fillers, such as Restylane LYFT, works well for a more immediate outcome whereas Sculptra takes time to appreciate the benefit but does offer an excellent, sustained duration.  In our experience, LYFT has a nice sustainability as well in this confined area.  With regards to using Sculptra in the hair line to create a lifting effect of the eyebrows - not something we are fans of.  Using Botox/Dysport for a brow lift is a much better, safer, less expensive approach.  Further to this, using Restylane or Juvederm along the brow bone is also an option.The below link shows before/after photos of temporal hollow treatments.

Sculptra can be used in the temples and along the hairline to create more volume. I do sculptra into the forehead and scalp all the time.  I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer
